Duration of Studies

The duration of studies for the Postgraduate Program leading to a Postgraduate Diploma (Master's Degree) is set at three (3) academic semesters, which includes the time required for the Master's Thesis (Dissertation).

Part-time study is possible, following a justified application from the student and approval by the Dept. Assembly.

The right to apply for part-time study is granted to:

  1. Students who are demonstrably employed for at least twenty (20) hours / week.
  2. Students with disabilities and special educational needs.
  3.  Students who are also athletes and, during their studies, belong to sports clubs registered in the electronic register of sports clubs maintained by the General Secretariat of Sports (G.G.A.) under the following conditions:
    1. For each year they achieve a distinction from 1st to 8th place in pan-Hellenic championships of individual sports with the participation of at least twelve (12) athletes and eight (8) clubs, or compete in teams of the two (2) highest categories in team sports, or participate as members of national teams in pan-European championships, world championships, or other international competitions under the Hellenic Olympic Committee, or
    2. Participate at least once, during their enrollment in the study program in Olympic, Paralympic, and Deaflympic Games. Students falling under this sub-paragraph may register as part-time students, following an application approved by the School's Deanery.

The duration of part-time study does not exceed six (6) academic semesters. The maximum duration of study also applies in this case
